Andrew Griscom Tribute

Andy Griscom passed away June 21, 2015. He was very respected and loved in the stereoview collecting community. Back in the early 1990s, I was a barely-operating marginal stereoview seller and Andy had time for my questions and requests for advice. He was always ready to help any researchers, or even a beginning collector who needed advice. To give an example of his brilliance, he taught his sister to read at three years of age, when he was just four. To give an example of how his family loved him, nine relatives asked for and were given the honor of speaking at his memorial in Palo Alto. He was an important member of the National Stereoscopic Association whose opinion was valued and he will be remembered and missed fondly by his many friends in the NSA.
